This interactive video clip illustrates the use of Active Video technology for creating a video guide. The viewer participates actively in the excursion: he chooses where to go and in what consecution, besides he may anytime get additional information about all historic objects he sees by simply clicking on them.
The route is choosed with the help of indicators on the screen that show possible directions. Pictogram of the map in the right upper corner makes the map appear with marked "nodes" of the route on it – they are called panorama points. Clicking on such a point viewer transfers immediately to this place, from here he may continue his excursion. When pointing by a mouse pointer on the object which can deliver additional information the pointer changes its shape and hint with the objects’ name appears on the screen.
During excursion the viewer listens to guides’ story about places of interest which he sees this very moment.
